Student Counseling and Career Centre

About

Counselling offers you the opportunity to talk to someone about the issues in your life which are of most concern to you, in a private and confidential setting. The Counseling and Career Guidance Centre (CCGC)ย helps NUM students enhance strengths and develop abilities to deal with the experiences of living, growing, and learning.

CCGC offers many services to all categories of students, alumni, and staff, including individual counseling/psychotherapy, consultation, couples and group counseling, and career guidance.

Further, we build and maintain relationships with alumni and employers who can provide internships and learning opportunities, entry-level positions and opportunities for experienced professionals through our Community Engagement programme.

CCGC staff also provide outreach education programs to the surrounding communities. Staff members are available for consultation with faculty concerning students or other matters relating to mental health in the university community.

The CCGC staff includes psychologists, clinical social workers, and psychiatrists. The staff carefully adhere to professional standards of ethics, privacy and confidentiality.
