EASTER, SALLAH BREAK AND EXTENSION OF LIBRARY OPENING HOURS
This is to bring to the notice of the university community that in view of the forthcoming Easter and edil- fitr sallah celebrations, the Management and Senate of Newgate University Minna has approved and declared two weeks break for both staff and students of the university with effect from Friday 29th March, 2024 to Saturday, 13th April, 2024. Work and normal academic activities resume fully on campus on Monday, 15th April, 2024.
However, all academic staff are directed to continue with online teaching and engaging the students with academic activities for the semester as the semester runs throughout the break period. The Ramadan lecture timetable currently in use will be maintained during the period of the break.
Furthermore, staff and students are to also note that the University Library will be opened for users between 9:00am to 3:00pm except for public holidays.
