It’s Yuletide vacation and we can’t help but congratulate you for the amazing journey you’ve had this year.
With every step you walked with us are miles closer to fulfilling our dreams.
To our students and staff, we felicitate you for making it this far and we wish you a heart warming holiday filled with love and happiness.
As we vacate today remember;
• While it is necessary to spend sometime and celebrate with your loved ones, you must know you’re not under compulsion to travel. With cases of insecurity in view, it is better to hang around than have your head hanged.
So avoid unnecessary travels.
But if you must travel, be sure to observe all safety measures and stay safe.
• Health is wealth. Meals are great, in fact, great meals are medicine to the body but not all meals are worth having. Mind the things you eat. Mind the associations you keep. Mind the people you accept food from. Above all, ensure you maintain a healthy diet plan.
• As a tradition with Christmas celebration, be mindful of the events you attend, and be mindful of the people you go out with.
You survived eleven months without lot of parties and events, so don’t end your survival with all the parties in just one month.
• As much as you can, avoid unnecessary showoffs. December is just another month, with 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 31 days.
January is a very long month, and we hope you don’t go begging on your knees to have nature fast forward it for you.
Be simple. Eat and enjoy what you have with all the dignity in the world.
Spend wisely and avoid unnecessary pressures and oppression.
• As much as you can, do not sweep your books under the carpet, ’cause that might be you sweeping your grades in January under the carpet.
Yuletide vacation does not take away your studentship from you, neither does it take your academic conferment away from you. Trail with wisdom.
Have a study plan, and we hope you don’t spend your 24 hours only on chicken and chips.
