    Joe-Kyari Gadzama is a distinguished Nigerian legal luminary, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), and an internationally recognized arbitrator and mediator. With over three decades of exemplary service in law and public life, he is one of Nigeria’s most accomplished legal practitioners.

A recipient of multiple national honors—Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR)—Mr. Gadzama is widely respected for his contributions to the legal profession and national development. He holds fellowships in several prestigious institutions including the Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (FNIALS), the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (FICMC), and is a Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).

He is the Principal Partner of J-K Gadzama LLP, a leading law firm in Nigeria, and has served in various capacities nationally and internationally, including as a member of the National Judicial Council (NJC) and as Chairman of several legal and arbitration committees.

Mr. Gadzama brings a wealth of experience, integrity, and visionary leadership to his role as Chancellor, reinforcing the university’s commitment to excellence, rule of law, and service to humanity.
