Online learning or e-learning is gradually taking the centre stage owing to its numerous merits, from giving room for more flexibility in terms of lecture delivery method and timing to ease of access to lectures at students and lecturers convenience independent of time and space constraints.
It is in the light of this global trend of educational advancement that Newgate University Minna has designed it’s robust e-learning platform NUeL, in order to accommodate and meet the educational, ICT and Advanced Skills needs of the students. Hence, rightfully positioning them to compete with their counterparts globally.
With the adoption of NUeL, we have switched from traditional classroom learning to implementing a blended learning approach with a mix of physical and virtual contact; an incorporation of the two learning approaches.
Students can now develop their ICT and Advanced Skills while having their learning needs accommodated with NUeL.
Students can now also learn on the go, finish and submit their assignments online irrespective of their location, any number of times in an interactive media-based learning platform- NUeL.
With respect to this, students are expected to login to MyNUM to create their accounts, and also login to NUeL to gain access to lectures, assignments and results.
On the other hand, lecturers are enjoined to complete and constantly update their lecture materials on the platform.
Finally, students should note that all assignments and projects will be submitted via NUeL only.
