Since its approval by the Federal Executive Council in May 2022, Newgate University Minna has remained steadfast in its commitment to academic excellence, innovation, and integrity.
In a relatively short period, we have made significant strides. The granting of our full operational license in August 2025 and the successful graduation of our pioneer students in December 2025 stand as proud milestones in our journey. These achievements reflect not only institutional growth but also the dedication of our staff, the resilience of our students, and the strength of our shared vision.
At Newgate University Minna, we believe that education must go beyond the classroom. The University provides a conducive learning environment supported by modern teaching methodologies and emerging technologies, aimed at fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving competencies among students.
In line with our strategic vision, the University is expanding its academic offerings to include postgraduate programmes and research initiatives that will strengthen its contribution to knowledge generation, capacity building, and societal development. Emphasis is being placed on developing research capabilities, interdisciplinary collaboration, and partnerships that enhance both academic and practical outcomes.
